| Meet the Vintners |
Tom and Joy Burnham and Jim and Deanna Tomasini have been friends and neighbors for years. Way before they started growing grapes and making wine. Of course, this being just a hobby, each year they planted just a few plants of different varieties until 2000. That's when they decided they had enough acreage to apply for and become a bonded winery. For years they called their wine Burnsini, being a combination of their last names.
The ship on the label is derived from a story of the MS. Tehama.
You will have to come to the winery to get the very interesting historical facts of that story!
